Transition Year Music Workshop

Time: 10am – 12pm

Take your music skills to the next level with Ciara from Ceoil Cliste in this dynamic, hands-on workshop designed especially for Transition Year students.

We’ll dive deeper into:
🥁 Cajon (box drums): Master more advanced rhythms and ensemble playing, developing coordination, timing, and teamwork — all through practical, high-energy activities.
🎵 Sound Bellows & Boomwhackers: Build and understand chords, explore harmonic progressions, and connect these creative exercises directly to Junior and Leaving Cert listening and composition topics.

Through rhythm games and collaborative challenges, students will see how classroom music theory comes alive in real performance and composition contexts.
